Visit the Salty Paws Pet Shack facebook page and find two new categories of products. If your dog is looking for a new bed, then check out the dog bed products. A variety of beds, pillows and mats are offered. Many can be used for crates, kennels or your car. All are super soft and sure to knock your dog out. 

The items that are for donation directly to K-9 New Life and Hearts United for Animals are also now available! These are featured items on the storefront and can also be found under 'Products for Donation'. A leash and/or collar is available for K-9 New Life and a leash is available for Hearts United for Animals. Choose one or all of these products to help out a no-kill shelter dog!

K-9 New Life Joins the Salty Paws Family

K-9 New Life is a registered non-profit all breed no-kill dog rescue organization in Virginia Beach, VA.

The mission of K-9 New Life is to take in dogs from shelters when they have run out of time or are injured or too sick for the shelters to handle. K-9 New Life provides them with health care, rehabilitation, training and a loving foster home until they can be adopted. Their focus is to give these less fortunate dogs a second chance to live the happy life they deserve.

10% of each purchase made in the Tidewater area will go to support this no-kill shelter. Like many shelters K-9 New Life is in need of leashes and collars. a leach and collar will be made available for purchase and then directly donated to K-9 New Life.

Salty Paws Pet Shack is excited to have this local no-kill shelter become a part of the family. Only through your purchases can K-9 New Life benefit, so remember: buying Fido his favorite toy will allow a shelter dog to have a better life while they wait for their forever home.

Hearts United for Animals Joins Salty Paws!

Hearts United for Animals (HUA) is a national no-kill animal shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization dedicated to the relief of suffering. They rescue dogs from all over the country and specialize in long distance adoptions. They take creatures who are lost, afraid, hungry or ill and comfort them, give them a warm, soft bed, good food, medical care and most of all, love.

HUA is a place of happiness, joy and love. Everything they do is in the best interest of the dogs. The dogs have big fields of grass and trees in which to run. Their primary interest is what will make them happy. HUA is a place to celebrate the joy of life.

10% of purchases made outside of Virginia will be donated to HUA. They are also in need of leashes and a standard leash will be made available for purchase which will then be donated directly to them.
